(*INDICATES CONFERENSE GAME)
9-23-2009: As the newly assigned GM of this Carolina powerhouse, I personally guarantee that we will get more than 9 wins this season and make wild card. I would like to say more will happen but with Jonathon Stewart gone on offense and my secondary depleted for undisclosed reasons, I can honestly be happy with a 9-7 season. With a very talented draft pool this year, I am looking forward to picking up a well rounded CB/S. This team has great chemistry coming into the season 1-0 and looking to improve from here on out. Ups and downs are expected with all teams and we should not be counted out even with an opening week victory. Jon Fox had a great victory and after the game he told me that next weeks match-up against the Falcons will be just tough as the Eagles. "I was very impressed with the chemistry that this team showed. Their never back down attitude was just what we needed after losing Chris Gamble at corner and [Jonathon] Stewart at tailback," Jon Fox was quoted saying after winning against a very tough Eagles defense.
9-24-2009: This weeks match-up pitted us against the 0-1 Falcons. Although we won the game 30-10, the game was a lot closer until the fourth quarter when Jon Beason picked off Matt Ryan twice in the redzone. 2-0 is a good way to start off the season and our young players are stepping nicely into their new starting roles. DeAngelo Williams ahd a great overall game with 150+ rushing yards and 80+ receiving yards. The Falcons played hard and played with heart throughout the game and we look forward to playing them again. We have already put this game behind us though and are getting ready for next weeks challenge against Americas Own, Dallas Cowboys.
