New Eagles owner takes over a 2-5 team. Obviously they are underachieving so far. New owner is looking to turn this around, but it is a big hill to climb.

And the new owner beats the 6-1 Cowboys 45-31. Desean Jackson took 2 kicks back for TDs. Defense registered 4 INTs, returning 1 for a TD. All about the defense and special teams here, offense looking to catch up next week. However, this should show that you can't take the Eagles for granted because of the record from the old owner

Eagles win their 2nd game in a row over the Chargers. Easy win for the Eagles after last week's close game. That makes the record improve to 4-5 now. Still holding hopes that we can somehow get into the playoffs.

Eagles win their 3rd in a row, this time 21-12 over the Chicago Bears, making the overall record now stand at 5-5. Newly acquired Keith Bulluck led the defense and came up big with 2 INTs and 1 sack. Brian Westbrook was named player of the game as he scored all 3 TDs for the Eagles. Westbrook finished with 137 yards rushing and 2 TDs on 19 carries, to go along with 3 catches for 59 yards and a TD. Bears played very solid defense and held down McNabb, but that opened up things for Westbrook to have a nice day. Westbrook scored on an 11 yard TD with 2:32 left to seal the victory. The Eagles defense held the Bears to 4 FGs and only 207 yards of total offense. It was close throughout but the Eagles led the whole way. Now at 5-5 they have been 3-0 under the new leadership and are hoping it isn't too late to get in the playoff picture.

5th straight win for the Eagles, a 42-21 decision over the Atlanta Falcons. Brian Westbrook led the way with 261 yards and 3 TDs on the ground and 73 yards receiving. Donovan McNabb played an efficient game, throwing 2 TDs and his only mistake being an INT when the game was already in control. Eagles now up to 7-5, but still the playoffs are looking like they will be difficult to make.
